Weird device shows up at Nokia press event--probably just ID badge

What is it?

Nosotros're non sure what to make of this but over at BooredatWork, they take ii photos of some odd gizmo. The picayune screened gadget is obviously beingness held past Chris Weber, President of Nokia US, at the T-Mobile-Nokia consequence for the 710 last calendar week. Now at this point, we could just say it's peradventure just a fancy LCD business organisation-card, an electronic badge or some type of mini-media player and be done with information technology, but BooredatWork says this most it:

"...nosotros got a brief sneak peek at a footling iii-inch Nokia Windows phone pocket tablet similar device. It got iii-inch brandish, with no apparent physical push. No thought on specs or what the device truly is as we only saw information technology briefly, only it is a Windows telephone based device " [Emphasis ours]

At present nosotros're non sure why they think it is Windows Phone based (nosotros're waiting for a response) but assuming that part is true, it is certainly a strange thing. Non only odd, simply it doesn't brand much sense either--Windows Telephone is a flake modest for a 3" screen, unless nosotros're talking near some type of changes coming in "Tango" which nosotros've heard has support for "smaller screens". Right now though, our Spidey sense is telling us this really isn't anything Nokia is working on just perhaps just an electronic badge/media player. Run across the image below:
